3 questions for the expert: Which colors & motifs for nail design in spring?
Our nail designer Stefanie answered three questions for us about your perfect nail design for spring. She tells you what colors she wears, whether glitter and mica are in demand for spring and what motifs are popular for nail art.
ND24: Which colors are popular in spring?
Nail designer Stefanie: In the studio, the dark, warm and pleasantly heavy nuances of winter change to colorful, bright and friendly tones in spring. Pastel shades are very popular! Those who like to wear red usually choose lighter, radiant shades such as red-pink or red-orange. Personally, I love rosewood-like colors during this time and choose color gels like Dusky Pink and Classic Powder Pink .
ND24: What about glitter, mica or metallic in spring?
Nail designer Stefanie: There are customers who like metallic or glitter all year round - these are of course also available in spring-like colors such as pastel metallic mint , metallic rose or metallic blue . However, many people decide against glitter or glitter in spring because they wore it a lot over Christmas and New Year's Eve, and prefer subtle mica or mother-of-pearl shimmer for their nail design.
ND24: Which nail art do you choose for your spring look?
Nail designer Stefanie: In general, the colors for nail art, such as stamping polishes , are now becoming brighter and more radiant. Romantic blossoms and tendrils or colorful flowers can be popular as motifs, but Easter motifs such as bunnies, Easter eggs or chicks also find their way into nail design at the right time.
