“Cleaners and removers are indispensable in nail design,” says our nail designer Stefanie. For them, nail polish removers and cleaners are part of their basic equipment both at home and in the studio. Our expert uses the products in the preparation of the nail, but also during modeling or afterwards for cleaning.
Areas of application for cleaners & nail polish removers
The cleaner is known to most users from nail design with gel or acrylic . The liquid is used to clean and degrease the nail before modeling or painting - this is the only way the following modeling or color layers can find a reliable hold. The cleaner is then used during modeling to hygienically remove the sweat layer after it has hardened. At the end of modeling, even the gel or acrylic brushes can be gently cleaned with the cleaner . Our nail designer uses the nail polish remover to remove nail polish thoroughly and carefully, but also to clean other tools, for example for nail art - so they remain ready for use for a long time, no remaining residue comes off the next time they are used and the accessories remain intact an even surface.
- Clean & degrease nail
- Remove sweat layer during modeling
- Clean brushes
- Clean accessories
Nail polish remover: Clean & care
When working with classic nail polish, our expert attaches great importance to acetone-free nail polish removers, as these do not dry out the nail unnecessarily. For them, a premium nail polish remover should thoroughly remove the remaining nail polish and at the same time provide the nail with nourishing oils. Our nail designer recommends always choosing the right remover or cleaner for the product to be cleaned and therefore uses special stamping cleaners , for example, to remove the special stamping polish from the stencils and stamps for nail art stamping without leaving any residue.
4 steps: Use cleaner correctly
Using Cleaner is uncomplicated and child's play. You can fill the liquid product into a practical dispenser to make your work easier and to be able to dose the cleaner better. Our expert recommends that you simply pour the cleaning liquid onto a cellette. These are special cotton pads with a rectangular, flat shape that are usually sold on rolls or in dispensers. Particularly practical: Although the cellettes are theoretically cotton pads, they do not shed and absorb moisture without falling apart. You can then use the cellettes soaked in cleaner to carry out your nail design work. Let the damp film of the cleaner dry on nails, cuticles or brushes - it will disappear without leaving any residue. For each step you should use a new cellette with fresh cleaner .
- Pour liquid cleaner onto Zellette
- Work with the cellette
- Allow cleaner residue to dry away
- New cellulose and fresh cleaner for every step of the work
UV nail polish and Shellac Remover 💅
To easily and cleanly remove light-curing varnishes such as UV nail polishes and Shellac , our nail designer uses special removers . They are placed on a cellette and wrapped around the nail with foil, so that after a short time the polish dissolves so that it can be easily removed from the nail. Practical variants are remover wraps , which are moistened with remover liquid and can be easily placed around the nail.
