Nail salon closed and now? You are not alone! Our nail expert Stefanie is also affected by the studio closure due to Corona and gives nail designers tips for the quarantine period! All cosmetic and nail salons in Germany have been closed since March 21, 2020 - the federal government's crisis team has issued this protective measure in order to break the chain of infection of the COVID19 pandemic. Human service professions are particularly affected by this, because close contact is part of daily business and the virus has an easy time spreading. While the nail salon is closed, nail designers can take various measures to use the time wisely.
3 questions for nail designer Stefanie - 3 important tips
Our expert Stefanie answers three questions about how to spend time without customers sensibly.
ND24 NailDesign: What measures have you taken to use your time wisely?
Nail designer Stefanie: In addition to the options mentioned above, we also have something special up our sleeve: We are about to take part in an online training course from our cosmetics company. This is great because anyone can do it from home using their tablet and no one has to be there. At the end we receive a certificate that certifies the skills we have learned.
ND24 NailDesign: How do you try to get money without customers?
Nail designer Stefanie: We are currently trying to generate money through vouchers - our customers can buy these now and redeem them at a later date. We support this with raffles and discount campaigns to make it as attractive as possible. We also sell our products contactlessly online, because many of our regular customers rely on certain products and don't want to be without them, even in times of crisis.
ND24 NailDesign: What should you pay attention to, even if the studio is closed?
Nail designer Stefanie: Under no circumstances should your nail salon appear unkempt during the quarantine period - make sure that seasonal decorations and new products can be seen in the shop window and that your premises continue to look attractive, clean and professional!
