BEAUTYSept instrument disinfection is a QUAT and amine-based concentrate for creating a working solution for the manual disinfection of invasive medical devices using the immersion bath process. The product is aldehyde and phenol free.

Suitable for dental and surgical instruments as well as rotating precision instruments.

Not suitable for endoscopes, disinfection of skin and hands. Not tested for the food and veterinary sectors. Do not use for spraying.

User instructions

Do not mix with other products. Before using the product for the first time, after using other products and at the end of a working day, clean the instrument tray and application aids thoroughly. Use only by qualified personnel. If sterilization is to take place: Rinse instruments with demineralized water beforehand. If the product was accidentally exposed to colder temperatures during transport: To dissolve any possible precipitates, warm the container to 25° C and carefully swing it back and forth before making the working solution. Report serious incidents involving this product to the manufacturer and the appropriate authority. Safety data sheet available at www.pliwa.de.

Service life and durability

Service life of working solution: 1 day. If there is visible contamination, change the working solution immediately. The expiry date of the product can be found on the label. Do not use after the expiry date.

A notice:
If used as intended and compliance with the exposure time and concentration, no material damage is to be expected for the materials mentioned above. Avoid prolonged contact with polycarbonate (Makrolon) for more than 48 hours! For polyacrylates and polycarbonates, test material compatibility before use. With copper, brass and aluminum, discoloration is possible if the exposure time is exceeded. With latex and EPDM, loss of elasticity or color changes are possible if the exposure time is exceeded. The product is not suitable for disinfecting Viton objects. For materials not mentioned, test material compatibility.

100 g contains the following active ingredients:
6.65 g didecyloxyethyl ammonium propionate,
6.20 g N,N-bis(3-aminoethyl)dodecylamine,
4.40 g cocospropylenediamine diguanidinium acetate,
2.60 g fatty alkylamine

Storage instructions

Do not store the product below 5°C and not above 25°C. Store only in the original container. Protect from sunlight. Store product upright and in a well-ventilated place. Keep container tightly closed. Keep away from food, drinks and feed.

The company PLIWA Hygiene GmbH has a manufacturing license according to §13 AMG paragraph 1 as well as a GMP and EN 13485 certificate.

Always wear protective clothing, eye protection, a face mask and protective gloves every time you disinfect! Avoid drying of dirt. Disassemble, open and thoroughly clean instruments. Disinfection using the immersion bath process:

1. Prepare the working solution in the desired concentration with water (approx. 20° C). Example for a 3% working solution: Mix 970 ml water (approx. 20° C) + 30 ml concentrate. Sequence: First add water, then add concentrate and mix.
2. Place cleaned, opened, disassembled instruments in the working solution. All surfaces and cavities must be wetted. Adhere to the exposure time exactly.
3. After the exposure time has elapsed, rinse the instruments thoroughly with water (at least drinking water quality, approx. 20°C) and dry them.
4. Check instruments for cleanliness and integrity. Please note the reprocessing recommendations of the instrument manufacturers as well as national regulations for the reprocessing of medical devices.
